Event Manager - Corporate Event Operations ( Data and Strategy) Role Purpose: To Lead, Execute and deliver world class and globally consistent event experiences for our Gartner associates. Justification: To support the Corporate Event Director with the management of Gartner’s Regional and Club300 Winners Circle Events Primary Responsibilities: Overall responsibility for Winners Circle budgets including preparation, negotiations, accurate and timely forecasts for events Supplier management including regular review and negotiation of contracts and SOW’s beneficial to Gartner Management of the Winners Circle Travel team, ensuring accurate analysis for flight patterns, risk and budgets. Management of the Visa process for Winners (where applicable) Management of the Winners Circle DMCs for each event, including selection of tours based on past analysis, managing the tours booking tools, managing tours attrition and managing transportation and staffing requirements Managing the Concierge teams across the regional Winners Circles and Club 300, including inbox management Concierge Service for our Winners Circle Club300 Top Achievers and Eagle Achievers Constantly evaluate the experience, feedback and results and implement changes accordingly Work with Director to ensure we are delivery world class experiences at Gartner Winners Circle Expected Results: Flawless client experience Build and maintain excellent working relationships Global operational effectiveness (Scalable and Consistent processes) Engagement of external partners and local teams Achievement of financial objectives Key Contacts: Internal Contacts:Operating Committee Assistants, Finance, IT External Contacts: DMCs, Travel Team, Registration Suppliers Job Requirements: Bachelors degree or equivalent 5+ Years Event Operations Experience Proven Budget Management Abilities Project Management Experience Contract Negotiation and Supplier Management/Review Data Management Experience Key Competencies/ Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Competent Project Manager Strong Client focused/ Customer Service Skills Strong Organizational Skills Competent Project Manager Fully competent in Microsoft office, especially Excel Strong Oral & Written Communication Skills Solution oriented High sense of urgency Collaborative Decisive Financial Management Skills
