The Opportunity We are recruiting for Business Development Managers for our Become a Client (BAC) division who will be responsible for fielding inbound calls and enquiries across Europe from the Become a Client lead generation program. Their goal is to close these leads which are not presently purchasing Gartner Research. The purpose is to identify key buying centres in these companies to sell Gartner Research and expand Gartner’s net new client base. Requirements Bachelor’s Degree and proven consultative B2B sales experience Ability to build credibility quickly with new clients; relationships should be developed at the C-level and with other key stakeholders Proven experience in closing enterprise-wide complex sales solutions, by structuring innovative, integrated solutions that provide IT decision makers value and support in achieving their business goals Ability to problem solve by thinking and acting quickly on your feet Strong leadership skills and ability to influence others in the organization with no direct reporting relationship Self-driven/self-starter with the ability to work autonomously Ability to articulate a strong value proposition of Research at the executive level Comprehensive understanding of technology buying centres Demonstrated presentation/written skills at an executive level Possess a high level of professionalism and integrity which builds trustworthy relationships both internally with Gartner colleagues and externally with prospective clients Proficient in German or French language is beneficial Grow with us Launch your future at a global market leader, where double-digit growth is the norm.
