Senior Account Executive - Financial Services Focus, Global/Enterprise Clients Clients could be from a range of areas depending on your background and experience, these could include Banking (Commercial Banking, Private Banking, Corporate Banking), Investment, Hedge Funds, Insurance, Private Equity, Venture Capital Environment, and many more. You would have a territory to manage (a small number of key clients), while strategically looking at where you can grow business. You own these relationships - this is Account Management, with a focus on expansion and retention. To be successful in this role, experience within solution sales, from a services, software, or consultative sales environment is essential. In this role you will: Consult with C-level executives to develop trust based, value add, long term relationships Account management – Developing existing accounts both in terms of products and footprint within the organisation Quota responsibility of $1,000,000+ of revenue within a territory Mastery and consistent execution of Gartner’s internal sales methodology Proficient in account planning and understanding of territory management Forecast accurately on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis Maintain competitive knowledge within your vertical In-depth knowledge of Gartner’s products and services – Developed by our world class training Ability to lead by example and coach, mentor, and assist in development of more junior members of the team. Job Requirements 8-15 years field experience within solution sales, from a services, software, or consultative environment Track record of achievement, or overachievement against target Ability to prospect and manage C-level relationships within enterprise organisations Strong demonstration of intellect, drive, executive presence, and sales acumen, and business acumen Proven experience building excellent client relationships, offering value added, insightful and strategic insight into their business Strong computer proficiency Excellent written and oral/presentation skills in English Ability to develop and conduct effective presentations Experience of the end to end sales cycle from prospecting to close Eligible to work in the UK
