About this role: Role is to be a true member advocate by understanding a member organizational MCPs and drive activities and engagement in partnership with Program Directors and Consult the Board Program Manager in pursuit of members objectives. The role is instrumental in liasing with Sales in risk management to be able to execute on successful renewals. The Senior Membership Director will also communicate internally on the intelligence they gather on the organization and their members for the benefit of our research process. What You Will Do Responsible for the successful onboarding of new clients and renewal of existing members Review member engagement and identify patterns, opportunities, and risk Drive attendance to Events in partnership with Member Engagement Specialist and Program Director Partner with aligned Program Directors and Consult the Board Program Managers to strategize on deliverables to a given member based on their KIs Partner with Sales to communicate overall health, opportunities for growth, and risk management strategy Retain (90% plus) and manage 55 multi-faceted relationships with CXOs and senior executives from companies with greater than $10B in revenues Foster collaborative relationship with Research, Events, Production, and other RB departments Strengthen the relationship with Sales by providing and accurate overview of the organization health, level of engagement and value received Identifies opportunities for growth and upgrades Contributes significantly to research process and content through their experiences, thoughts, and knowledge of members Program Directors – partner to review member engagement frequency and variety, identify opportunities and strategy plan of action Consult the Board Program Managers – partner to follow up on open and new member deliverables Sales – communicate overall health of the account, surface and manage any risk, collaborate on the renewal lifecycle process to success What you’ll need: 8 years of experience in client facing role Bachelor's Degree Excellent written and verbal communications skills with members/offices which reflect an understanding of RB brand and corporate objectives Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), confidence and conviction to drive change management Excellent relationship management skills including experience working with senior executives Strong organizational, time and project management skills Critical thinking and problem solving skills to assess client risk and provide/execute actionable advice/solutions Innate sense of timeliness: urgency around scheduling member activities and executing member retention strategies; knowing instinctively how quickly something should be completed. Understand and successfully represent the RB Brand: sensitive to RB style in execution of internal and external communications and processes. Account ownership: member welfare is the underpinning of all other work; nurture strong relationships with members and their offices; knowledge of member engagement history and concerns.
