Marketing and Database Coordinator About this role: The Marketing and Database Specialist is responsible for data enrichment and enhancement of our marketable audience. You will use industry leading sources to acquire new data for attendee and sponsorship profiles, while ensuring our existing database is accurate and clean. In addition you will be responsible for execution of multi-channel marketing strategies to achieve or exceed attendance and sponsorship goals. Working within a culture focused on results, accountability, relevance, innovation and speed to market. What you’ll do: ? Database development Acquire, validate and data per business objectives Maintain a clean and up-to-date database Dedupe/merge duplicate lead, contact and account records Purge outdated or bad data Complete incomplete lead, contact and account profiles Update invalid data Manage unsubscribes ? Audience development Build segmented audiences for marketing campaigns Build sponsorship and registration lists for sales development efforts Assist the Marketing Director in implementing end-to-end marketing campaigns to drive audience acquisition and retention across EMEA/ANZ event portfolio Deliver marketing campaigns – on time, to budget Continually assess performance, and strive to drive higher results wherever possible What you’ll need: BA/BS degree required 2 years’ experience in Marketing and Database, experience in event promotion and/or the business to business environment a plus Experience and skills in CRM, marketing automation and database driven marketing Experience with data acquisition, mining, cleaning, de-duping, etc. Experience and skills within integrated, multi-channel marketing Strong time management and organization skills including the ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines Proficiency with Microsoft Excel Good copy writing skills Strong attention to detail Self-motivated and deadline driven Excellent communication skills and the capacity to interact with all levels Team player who brings energy, professionalism and innovative thinking to the portfolio Travel required Gartner, Inc.
