As the Business Development Manager, you will build new business activity within our high performing sales team using the challenger methodology (we will train you on this in our exclusive Gartner Academy). You will lean in to support C level executives from the some of the world’s most visionary enterprise businesses on their journey to build the successful organisations of tomorrow. BDM Responsibilities: You will identify and develop new business opportunities with new-to-Gartner large enterprise organisations, targeting C level individuals within specific business functions You will convert viable prospects to active Gartner clients (members), owning the full sales conversation and negotiation, through to the transition of new clients to the account management team You will demonstrate commercial agility and acuity for effectively articulating the program’s value proposition and diagnosing the prospective members’ business needs You will support team members when needed and ensure you are advocating our core values You will lead complex sales, of large deal sizes, across matrix and complex business environments. Your Profile: You will need to have a 'Champion Mindset', a clear track record of successful sales experience, including holding commercial negotiations within a senior client base You ideally would have the grit to handle revenue responsibility and meet monthly, quarterly, and annual financial goals (with some phenomenal incentives) You should embody skills in handling multiple commercial processes, new business forecasting, and identifying challenges to a positive commercial outcome across large organisations and matrix environments You would need a deep understanding of business concepts for large national and international corporations along with strong ethic for fulfilling service requests and keen interest in forming relationships with executives You would ideally be willing to conduct EMEA-wide travel as required.
