Primary Responsibilities: • Be fully responsible for the successful execution and delivery of Executive Programs standalone events as well as experiences within events • Work closely with Sr Manager, Executive Programs Events, to ensure event environments are created that meet the needs of our members • Effective project management and accurately track and evaluate results on overall project goals. • Actively participate in the operational planning and improvement of event features and programs (member experience and journey, Lounges, VIP opportunities, special events and activities). • Partner with Program Directors to develop and deliver Executive Programs -sponsored programs within events including sessions, receptions and meals for target audiences • Venue management including but not limited to rooms, meeting facilities, F&B, meeting materials, A/V • Actively participate in the process of reviewing, enhancing and executing event features and programs, analyzing attendee feedback to ensure we are delivering exceptional, relevant event experiences • Support strategy to increase member and prospect attendance across all events.. • Lead, communicate, and collaborate across with internal and external partners. Inspiring confidence and translating our strategy to ensure seamless delivery of each event experience. • Support client growth and retention by partnering with internal communications channels to support clear and up to date communications. • Direct responsibility for event budgets including preparation, negotiations, accurate monthly forecasts for events, alert management for risks and recommendations for corrective action Expected Results: • Full understanding of Executive Programs product • Build and maintain excellent working relationships • Successful translation of business' event strategy into an effective execution strategy • Application of best practices to create repeatable, high impact event processes • Flawless operational management and shared delivery of annual events • Work effectively with Global Executive Programs team • Achievement of financial objectives through strong financial management Key Contacts: • Global event operations team • Event Production, Sales and Marketing teams • Research, Sales, Executive Programs, Consulting, Finance, Global counterparts in APAC and NA • Third party event partners, venues & hotels #L1-LM2 Job Requirements: Professional Experience: • 6 + years of event management experience • End-to-end Event management and delivery to Senior level clients • Experience of working in a complex multi layered corporate environment with multiple stakeholders • Prior experience researching, negotiating contracts for meeting services and working with hotels and external vendors • Financial Management Key Competencies: • Excellent interpersonal skills - team player who works well with others, together reaching challenging goals under very tight deadlines • Business-minded individual with the ability to understand client impact on all aspects of the event • Client focused - superior customer service skills • Excellent written and oral communication skills • Strategic Thinker - Self-motivated, collaborative and solution oriented • Passionate, Energetic & Enthusiastic • Prior experience researching, negotiating contracts for meeting services and working with hotels and external vendors • P&L Management and effective financial skills • Willingness to travel • Fully competent in Microsoft office, especially Excel #L1-LM2
