The team works in a fast-paced environment on a wide variety of global and regional employment law issues. In this role, you will support the EMEA & global employment counsel functions and EMEA HR. Some of what you’ll do Legal research on discrete EMEA employment law matters Regularly monitor legislative, regulatory or case law changes that may necessitate amendments to EMEA HR documentation or practices in order to comply with minimum statutory requirements and/or best practice Assist with employment law tasks relating to commercial transactions Provide support on all aspects of EMEA employment litigation Work closely alongside the VP and HR to review and maintain EMEA policies, procedures and contracts Assist with training EMEA HR and the business on various employment law issues Assist with specific projects and regulatory initiatives #LI-RK2 Job Requirements: What you’ll need Bachelor’s Degree at minimum from top university 3-5 years’ previous paralegal experience (either in-house or private practice) or equivalent desirable General business acumen and commercial awareness, as well as a genuine interest to learn about Gartner’s business Ability to carry out assigned projects to their completion Desire to build effective working relationships with multiple stakeholders within the company Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent planning, organizational and time management skills Ability to handle multiple tasks, and prioritise and schedule workload in a high paced working environment Very strong team player Ability to work independently when appropriate but to recognise when supervision needed Ability to maintain perspective and good humour What we offer: In addition to an outstanding work environment with rapid advancement potential, Gartner associates enjoy exceptional compensation and benefits, including: An upbeat, positive culture.
