Role purpose: The Sponsor Marketing Specialist is responsible for execution of marketing strategies to achieve or exceed commercial sponsorship goals within a culture focused on results, accountability, relevance, innovation and speed to market. Responsible for supporting marketing initiatives and sales needs across a variety of channels and activities pre, during and post-event. Primary Responsibilities: • Assist marketing managers in implementing annual marketing strategies to drive sponsor acquisition and retention across EMEA/APAC event portfolio • Assist in executing end-to-end exhibit sales campaigns and activities to help meet sponsor revenue targets • Support lead generation/nurturing activities (VIP Day/web based lead capture) to enhance the prospect/sponsor experience • Support sponsor sales team as needed throughout selling cycle • Update sales collateral – sell sheets, brochures and related sales tools • Ensure that tools/marketing materials are globally consistent and adhere to brand guidelines • Assist marketing managers in marketing analysis of activities that gauge ROI • Administrate the creation and publishing of relevant social content, working with the various internal teams to ensure policies are adhered to • Manage content editorial calendar and help to plan marketing campaigns • Help to maintain event websites and ensure they are updated for prospective sponsor audience and optimized to support lead generation activities • Assist in managing logistics involved in VIP Day scheduling and onsite execution • Coordinate shipment of marketing materials for sales suite to support the event sales team at events #LI-POST Job Requirements: Job Requirements: • Complete additional projects as required and support corporate goals related to events • Travel to events is required (20%) • BS/BA Marketing, Communications or related field • At least two years B-to-B marketing experience • Exceptional time management and organization skills including the ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines • Must be a team player able to interact respectfully and collaborate with staff at all levels of the organization • Strong written and verbal communications skills and copywriting/editing/proofreading experience • Experience sourcing and managing content development and publishing • Experience with integrated multi-channel marketing including list/database management • Understanding of graphic design/print production processes • Understanding of the IT industry and key market forces • Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PPT, Adobe) #LI-POST
