To design collateral on a variety of media, including digital platforms - for marketing, sales, research & events. Responsible for graphic visualisation of ideas for numerous stakeholders and leading on key projects, responsible for their creative direction. Be the senior in the team and able to mentor junior designers especially on html/digital. Deputize for the Design Manager when required. Generate concepts/messaging for design jobs for different stakeholders Work from initial brief to finished design, setting and delivering to deadlines under pressure. Maintain and develop SCM World websites – using analytics to improve user experience and target form completions Identify opportunities to improve visual identity & communications with a competitive edge – deliver concepts for new event or campaign themes. Work with the Design Manager to develop the brand – be responsible for crafting and updating guideline documentation. Be a creative and digital skills mentor for other designers in the team – help them find better solutions to their briefs and set them challenges or briefs that will stretch them. Manage your own time and workloads. Track jobs and communication through Workfront and collect feedback on the quality of your work. . Job Requirements Design based degree or other degree and technical design qualification 6 years’ minimum experience in a design role and shown progression through the ranks Working under a design or art director Leading design projects Working with client stakeholders Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite HTML/CSS knowledge ideally with WordPress experience Email design experience using an EMS like Eloqua or Pardot A creative all-rounder with a visually dynamic and varied portfolio Apple Mac literate Premier Pro/After Effects skills a bonus Detail-oriented and organization skills are important to succeed in this role as is the ability to give and receive constructive feedback and sell your design concepts
