The core team, along with members of the extended EMEA Analytics community, are responsible for equipping Data and Analytics leaders with the capabilities required to meet the vast array of new opportunities and challenges they face. Our ambition is to build upon the team’s close links to Gartner’s revered Analytics Research Community and create a new set of data and analytics propositions that will enable our clients to succeed in the age of uncertainty. As an Associate Director within the team you will be responsible for helping build, scope and deliver the engagements that transform our clients’ data and analytics capabilities. As a talented Data and Analytics Associate Director, you will: Manage all components of our largest proposals and engagements including new market analytics methodologies, staffing and budgets. Manage the engagement proposals and engagement deliverables, responsible for client delivery. Identify, develop and document issues and strategic recommendations using independent judgment concerning engagement areas being reviewed. Conduct interviews and manage interactions with board-level client management and key senior stakeholders to gain an understanding of client business conditions, risks and controls. Manage and sign-off on the comprehensive cost / benefits analysis and preparation of business cases for technology investments. Manage the coordination and communicating of key findings and results of engagements supervising written reports and oral presentations to senior client management and key senior stakeholders. Assist your Managing Partner with the management and co-ordination of your practice team including recruitment, appraisals and development. Maintain Director-level expertise and currency in industry leading information management technologies. Manage the delivery of board-level engagement reports and presenting key findings to board-level executives and stakeholders. Manage and mentor all junior Gartner consultants assigned as members of your practice team. Develop, build and maintain board-level client relationships. Contribute to the development of project management, quality assurance and professional consulting and auditing approaches/methodologies. Present a board-level professional image in conduct and attitude. Job Requirements REQUIREMENTS Minimum 5 years consulting experience from a top management IT Consulting or Analyst firm; Minimum 8 years total professional and consulting experience; Experience of working with clients in multiple industries with a proven track record in Financial Services (including key and emerging regulatory aspects); Demonstrable and practical experience in the Data and Analytics domain including but not limited to: Business Intelligence and Analytics, Data Management, Data Modelling, Data Quality, Data Governance, Master Data Management and Metadata Management; Experience within the domain of Advanced Analytics and Data Science is highly desirable; Proven track record of holding and achieving sales targets; Excellent people skills and customer relationship track record; Experience in developing client business relationships as part of a commercial organisation; Expertise with strategic consulting frameworks; Fluent in English, ideally with a second European language (French highly desirable); Willing to travel (potentially several days per week).
